New Plural Family connection

I signed up yesterday and created a profile and then was supposed to wait for approval before being allowed to access the site. It tracks your location or computer and I got a note about my computer being recognized as a new device.

So I guess it is secure but for now it's so secure it isn't much use.

Glad to hear about it but I unfortunately will not be able to participate. Despite being able to whip any three church ladies at potluck dishes, understanding the utility of a shared faith and believing in intelligent design does not rise to the level of qualifying.
Hope it does well though and am very happy that plyg life is starting to make some progress.

So I got a message on my email saying there was a message on the Christian Plural site for me.

I logged on and that sent a confirmation security code to my email and then I entered it and logged in.

I was then asked to explain what I wanted from the site. My answer was that I was invited.

I am starting to think it's a bit too complicated a community for me.

Darn. Hopefully we’ll see some improvements to the site that will make it a bit more user friendly

I was asked if we were looking for another wife. I just said we weren't looking when we found each other...or when we met my sisterwife. We want God's will though...so not opposed. Mostly thinking to support others that are interested or living polygyny.

Well I am glad to see that you believe in ID. That is a step in the right direction. I guess then any efforts I make to tell you about the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics would be like preaching to the choir. What are your thoughts on what Tacitus had to say about Jesus?

That's partly because single gals on poly sites get about as much attention as a bug in the chicken pen! Lol
Or they get people accusing them of being male and using AI to try to fool people.

I would go even further and say that the details he brings up match what is reported in the gospel accounts.

Agreed. Tacitus makes clear that the Crucifixion did indeed take place. Much of the Gospels follows from this fact.

Historical attestation of a fact isn’t the same as interpretation of a fact. Plenty of people were crucified at the hands of Rome.

I do not know the reference but I am afraid that no words are capable of shifting me. In a very literal sense.
What has influenced me to date has been more akin to puzzle pieces that fit together entirely too well.
My interest is going to be much more focused on the physical world and far less on the philosophical. I take my philosophy in part from the Christian pantheon but from other influences but in the largest part from reasoning through what my rules for life and my own behavior should be...and mostly I am finding myself able to abide by them. Always room for improvement obviously.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tacitus_on_Jesus This is known as the Tacitus Testimonial. It is evidence form a hostile witness.
