• Biblical Families is not a dating website. It is a forum to discuss issues relating to marriage and the Bible, and to offer guidance and support, not to find a wife. Click here for more information.

While that may be historical I am more concerned about Gods children and how we operate. I have said many times, God's Word is for God's children. We obey God FIRST then if the rest of the world wants to copy us and God's pattern for living then society is better off. Now we look at the whole idea of "Biblical Marriage" and our Biblical Families moniker versus what everybody else does. Scripture is always presenting contrasts for us. "The world does it like this BUT God's children needs to do it like that..."
Our Father hears the cries of the innocent children of the world as they are sacrificed on the alter of planned parenthood the other idolatry, but Yahweh's children shouldn't do that. Yahweh joined the dna together, don't act like the world and cut them up.
There are other more practical things deep in scripture that i wrote about before to the bristling of some.

A senior citizen drove his brand new Corvette convertible out of the dealership. Taking off down the road, he floored it to 80 mph, enjoying the wind blowing through what little gray hair he had left. Amazing, he thought as he flew down I-94, pushing the pedal even more.Looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a state trooper behind him, lights flashing and siren blaring. He floored it to 100 mph, then 110, then 120. Suddenly he thought, What am I doing? I'm too old for this, and pulled over to await the trooper's arrival.Pulling in behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said, "Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I've never heard before, I'll let you go."The old gentleman paused. Then he said, "Years ago, my wife ran off with a state trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.""Have a good day, sir," replied the trooper 😁😁

Our older son's name is Philip. We were sitting in church and he was little, and the pastor was preaching about how to live the Christian life, and he said that we need to fill up [with the Holy Spirit]. Then he repeated it! That certainly caught Philip's attention. He thought he was in big trouble!
