Now ain't that just the kind of association we need!

Interesting…..this might not be an argument that redounds to our benefit though….good information though.
But I do wonder what's their secret?

Regime does seem to generate polygyny acceptance. I do know one case (second from video, I think) with wife going public with polygyny promotion.

Yep, when have you last time seen wife as polygyny fan while husband is ...passive observer? Usually, it's opposite. Sadly, couldn't find this video.

Polygyny makes sense FOR women!

Pick one of the "good ones" that are "taken," instead of having to try and convince some selfish player to settle down.

Get to see what kind of husband and father he is.

"Job share" the responsibilities of wife and mom with someone else as invested in the family as you are!

I started to talk about the benefits once with a mono only couple and they quickly pointed out that "Satan offers benefits" ...and that is where I quit trying. But if I talked hardships they would claim that as evidence God isn't blessing it.....even if raising a family is inherently challenging at times......and "bearing one anothers burdens" is Christian instruction that CLEARLY IMPLIES life is no cake walk!
People with that mindset will selectively apply verses, use them when it suits them, discount it when it works for your position. There is no reasoning with them.

They don't want reason or facts as it might clear their ignorance. Then they'd have to use there brains, and who knows what that might lead to. :)
Or there is that quote I liked.

"Prejudice is rarely overcome by argument, not being founded in reason it cannot be destroyed by logic,"

~ Tryon Edwards

Here is another that has always seemed to speak to the way people treat this particular subject.
"The perceived political incorectness of an unfamiliar idea lies in direct inverse proportion to the quality of education received by the perceiver"

~ Phillips Law of Cognitive Denial
