Salvation is act where we give consent to Holy Ghost to become "part of us".
Hmmm... I suspect your description of salvation came the Book of Common Sense because I see there is no Bible reference given.

Salvation is a gift from God where He rescues the sinner from His eternal wrath through the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8-10 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

In the Epistle to the Ephesians, we are told in Ephesians 1:13–14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. The words you were sealed are from an aorist indicative passive verb indicate the indwelling and sealing work of the Spirit is accomplished by God in the now believing saint. No consent is necessary. Shalom

Do you accept salvation or salvation is imposed upon you?

If you accept, then you are giving consent.

Gifts can be refused.

12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
