Ell and the pastries - most recent relationship

If I understand you correctly, mentor is separated from her husband?

Maybe she’s scoping out your perspective out of self interest should she not reconcile with her husband? (I understand that there are differing views on her availability )

The fact that she is separated from her husband ought to disqualify her from being a mentor, but sadly, in the church these days, we see many older women, who in spite of Paul's admonition, are not really qualified to teach the younger women to obey their husbands.

So, I haven't talked to this girl Ell since late January. That was a full eight months ago. Except one time, when I brought in some flyers for a dance event that we were hosting to the restaurant she works at. That was about 5 minutes of chatting in May. During that brief encounter I apologized for my part in any confusion from that matter - this despite the fact .

Tonight a woman at one of my church meetings got terribly agitated and said she needs to talk to me. She was "trying not to gossip" but Ell told her and apparently a whole group of people that I am stalking her and that she is afraid of me.

She's also telling people that I was kicked out of my church for making moves on an 18-year-old at our old church. There is no 18-year-old at our old church. It's the old 70ish year old suicidal drug lady rearing up again. And Ell is apparently telling people that it's "another" 18-year-old and that she herself is only 18, but I don't think that it true. Her sister told my wife that Ell is 21.

I'm going to pray about it and talk to some wiser men, but my gut reaction is that it's time to send a cease and desist letter to her parent's address.

What would you do?

I’m flying Assumption Airlines here, so pray about whether or not this is accurate.

To me it’s obvious that she feels tension between the two of you. The question is why?
I believe that she may be feeling a pull towards you. She is fighting it because the idea is not popular with the people around her. So she is stirring up trouble to distance herself from you. A cease and desist will play into the distancing.
Not to get your hopes up, but just keep living your best life and see how it plays out. Possibilities exist.
Who knows, she could become your third wife ten years from now when other things don’t work out for her.

Job went through some stuff and his friends/ neighbors judged the daylights out of him. He stayed the course and was proven to be the righteous one in the end.

Well she had a powerful attraction to me. It was tangible. Her narcissist feminist Bible mentor loathes me and my wife. And her son is deeply hearth-throbbed to the girl but she doesn't like him. He's this kind of sweet, drooling emasculated weirdo. They're dance partners and they dance together amazingly but the whole room can see that he's just hanging on her every touch and word.

Granted these observations go back to Friday.

This. A decent attorney can write such a letter for you and charge maybe $200 or so. It is well worth the money.

Yeah, what they are doing I will not allow. She can feel any kind of way that she wants and I don't have control over that. But she doesn't get to make up stuff about me and smear me. I don't care about some kind of emotional long game because she's already demonstrated a lack of social independence and morals.

Does anyone sue over stuff like this? I've never sued anyone before but I have to admit that I'm thinking about it a lot these days. I've been emailing and calling different offices and talking over the situation with our old pastor a lot. Honestly this other little group had gone quiet for the last eight months but recently they're stirring up shit over here in my normal social circle.

One of the other young men involved in this group approached my wife in public last week. He's dating Ell's little sister and he was the one who they all put on the phone when their group took over her social life (I don't expect anyone to remember all that nonsense from back then). He nervously approached her and asked if I was dangerous, if she was safe or if she needed help. My wife handled it well.

The older lady I mentioned above is kinda witchy in my opinion. She doesn't have that good energy. It seems like the more heavily I go patriarchal and win people to our side, which is happening, the more of the witchy feminist resistance comes out.

It is a given that the more you become a danger to enemy’s kingdom, the more push-back you will receive.
He uses different battles for each of us.
