It looks like Rob Kowalski has a new book out that he is taking pre-sale orders for called "Man of Options".

I like the title. I have long thought that not every man needed to be a polygamist, but every Christian man ought to have it in his tool box.

I am looking forward to the book.

His personal story on his web site is a good read.

I have not listened to his podcast or youtube videos, but a search in this forum seems to reveal a favorable disposition.
 
I know Rob is controversial to some people but I am very positive on him. He has brought a lot of positive attention to the movement. I like his modified red pill vocabulary too.

I think it resonates with some men who could be persuaded to our side if we show we take their observations seriously if not always their conclusions.

I don’t think he has that many controversies personally. I think some people are reserving judgement until he’s been in the movement for a little while longer but he’s a mover and a shaker and he seems to know how to get things done.

I've got a few concerns about Rob based on what I have seen so far. Unlike you, I haven't met him in person, so I have less to base my opinion on.

Like you said, he is definitely a mover and a shaker! He gets stuff done, and that means a lot in life.
Some people who might be better grounded, but are also less energetic and active, will generally be far less useful in the end.

Let this be a kick in the butt for those guys.
I need it.

I think Mr. Kowalski is perfectly suited for his niche. It takes a certain skill set to podcast and make YT videos. Not everyone is good at it. It’s good that he has that skill set because in person, I wasn’t all that impressed. Maybe it’s my age, but I just didn’t get a sense of gravitas. In the venue we met, he was a bit distracted by some personal matters, so maybe he wasn’t his best.

He’s been a part of this forum but I think his sights are on much different things now.

Go watch one of his YouTube videos for a few minutes. He's a snake and, at least last time I gave him 5 seconds of my attention, he'd never even been in a plural marriage and was giving people advice on how to live plural marriage... he has mega ex-con vibes too (no idea if he is one).

Ouch brother. Those are some strong words.

He’s an ally, not an enemy.

Like all of us, he’s a work in progress. I believe he’s trying to learn and grow. This doctrine is still relatively new to him. If he’s not perfect in all of his presentation, he’s just human.

I think you need to dial it back a bit.

Again, go watch his videos.

He's rude, he's condescending, las time I watched one he had never lived polygamy and wants to tell everyone how to do it, etc. Every fiber of my being prickles at him.

I have an uncle that used to really annoy my husband and sons. Personality clashes are real, but it doesn’t mean that YHWH or others have that same animosity toward the individual.
